Damage Estimate
Take the damaged vehicle to an insurance partner workshop or one approved by Asuransi Raksa to calculate the damage estimate. If the damage estimate reaches 75% of the sum insured, the claim may be considered a Total Loss Claim. Whereas if the damage estimate does not reach 75% of the sum insured, the claim is not considered a Total Loss Claim.
Additional Documents & Settlement
Submit the vehicle's ignition key, the original Vehicle Registration (STNK), the original ownership certificate (BPKB), the original purchase invoice, the Roadworthiness Book (KIR) (specifically for goods transport vehicles), 3 blank signed receipts (1 with a stamp duty), and other supporting documents. If the accident/loss results in a partial loss and the damage can be repaired, the Insurer will pay reasonable repair costs by repairing the vehicle at a Raksa partner workshop. If the damage cannot be repaired, the Insurer will pay reasonable spare part replacement costs plus reasonable installation costs, after deducting the "Own Risk" for each incident.
For a single claim submitted, the Insured may be charged the "Own Risk" several times, if after being surveyed by an Asuransi Raksa Surveyor it is found that the damage to the Insured's vehicle was caused by several incidents.
If the accident/loss results in total damage (Total Loss), the Insurer will pay the claim in the amount of the "Market Value" of the vehicle at the time of the accident/loss, with a maximum reimbursement equal to the Sum Insured minus the Own Risk.
